Can I purchase bagged stockfeed directly from the mill?
We are not licensed for retail sales of bagged stockfeed. In accordance with our Food Safety Program, all products must be distributed through licensed stockfeed retailers with AgSafe Accreditation. This ensures full traceability and compliance in the event of a product recall.
Do your feeds contain Restricted Animal Material (RAM)?
No. All Vella Stock Feeds are formulated using 100% vegetable-based proteins. We do not use any Restricted Animal Material in our diets.
Do you use synthetic hormones or growth promotants?
No. We do not use any synthetic hormones or growth promotants in our feeds.
Are antibiotics included in your diets?
No, unless under exceptional circumstances. Antibiotics are strictly regulated and never included in general or multi-site feed (e.g., bagged stockfeed). If a veterinarian determines antibiotic inclusion is necessary for animal health, it must be authorized and fully documented. We then perform a complete system flush and cleanout to prevent cross-contamination. This process is costly and used only to prioritise livestock wellbeing.
Are your poultry diets medicated for coccidiosis?
No. We use Regano™, a natural herbal extract, in our Starter and Grower poultry diets to help support against coccidiosis. Regano™ may also be included in selected starter diets for calves, rabbits, guinea pigs, and certain horse feeds.
Can I buy stockfeed in bulk (delivered into a silo)?
Yes. Bulk orders start at a minimum of 3.00 metric tonnes per product, with increases available in 1.50-tonne increments (e.g., 4.50, 6.00, 7.50 tonnes, etc.). Please note: bagged stockfeed does not qualify as bulk.
Do you offer stockfeed in Bulk Bags?
Yes. Bulk bags are available for orders of 3.00 metric tonnes or more per product per order. We recommend working with your local stockfeed retailer for logistics, as they often have the necessary equipment and handling procedures in place. Always use appropriate lifting gear and ensure safe storage to prevent tipping hazards.
Do you provide delivery?
While we do not deliver directly, we can help coordinate delivery through trusted logistics providers to most locations.
